The horizontal timeline blocks the top of the page and the right page looks unstructured
Figure 1b. Iteration
The timeline is less obstructive and the right side is organized by fruit layers.
Figure 2. Final layout
I wanted to use the landscape of its habitat to tell the story of its sea voyage and to lead the reader’s eye across the page. The curve of the beach was also used to show the highs and lows of its population through history.
